Note: The October 2015 marriage preparation course is five sessions long, Thursday evenings. The next course will be running starting on Thursday, October 22nd, 2015. Please complete the form if you’re interested in joining!

The Marriage Preparation Course is for any engaged couple who wants to develop strong foundations for a lasting marriage. It doesn’t matter how long you have been engaged – some couples have set a wedding date while others have not. We also find couples who have been living together for a while use the course to explore the idea of getting married.

There are five evenings which cover the following subjects:

  • the importance of commitment
  • how to recognize and appreciate your differences
  • the art of communication
  • resolving conflict
  • spending time together
  • nurturing your friendship
  • making each other feel loved
  • developing a good sexual relationship
  • the importance of talking about your goals, values and dreams

Each evening involves a meal, viewing a short video, discussion and interviews with an already married couple. The program runs on five Thursday evenings. If these nights do not work for you, simply inquire about the schedule for our next session!

The course is based on Christian principles for relationships and is run by Christians but it is suitable for people with or without a church background.

There is a cost of $120, which includes the meals and course materials for the whole program. Financial aid may be available in certain circumstances.

If you are interested in learning more or joining us, please complete the form to the right.
