On October 15-16, 2010, the youth of ABC went to Change Conference at Queensway Cathedral. We got to meet a lot of new people, there was great music, and we were able to buy some pretty cool stuff. It was a great experience for everyone!

One of the things I remember the most about Change Conference was one of the speakers. He was a pastor and he spoke just before the concert. He told us a story about a time when he was in a library. He was walking around, and he saw a girl looking for a book, and he said he felt like God wanted him to talk to her. So he did and he found out that she had just moved and was looking for a Bible to read while her’s was still being moved.

When Matt asked me what Change Conference meant to me, I said it meant taking everything we learned and using it in our lives. So here’s what I did:

At the beginning of the school year, I saw a new girl at my school. She was always sitting by herself at lunch at the very back of the cafeteria. A few weeks ago, she had started coming to my school’s Christian Fellowship (led by Johnny). I never really talked with her, but I felt like God wanted me to. So about a week ago, I sat down with her at lunch and had an awesome conversation with her! I found out that she had moved in with her dad for university, but she decided to do an extra year of high school. We talked for all of lunch and I was really glad that we did.

This is what Change Conference meant to me!
