If you think you know a great deal about the Apostle Paul from your reading of the Acts of the Apostles and Paul's letters in the New Testament, then come to our Adult Bible Study to find out what you don't know about the Apostle Paul and his mission ministry. Everyone is most welcome to become involved in this comprehensive study during the Sundays in June, at 9:30am. Teacher Bob Hanson has recently returned from Asia Minor (Turkey) where Paul did some of his missionary work. Come, Be enlightened, Enjoy.
It's difficult to be a mother nowadays. Yet, Proverbs 31: 10-31 paints a ridiculous immaculate picture of the perfect mother. What is she like? She’s literally a superwoman, the Mrs. Palestine of the ancient world. She is the touch-up model on a magazine cover. Doesn't God realize that we suffer from spiritual anorexia too? In this sermon, Pastor Timothy shows us that Proverbs 31:10-31 is not a passage that condemns us. Rather, it shows that God and Godliness is what sets us free from the tyranny of our failures. By making the fear of the Lord our partner in life, we will never lack any good thing our Father will give us in His time and wisdom.

Sometimes tears have away to wash away the manufactured superficiality encasing so many modern songs today. Though Chapman is by no means a nouveau in the contemporary Christian music market, lately his songs possess a platonic platitude. However, a freak accident tragically took away the life of one of his adoptive daughters devastating the Chapman family. After one and a half years of struggling with the pain of the tragedy, Chapman finally chronicles his pain in the light of God's Word via these 12 newly penned songs. What functions as this album's trump card is that Chapman is not afraid to confess his fears, doubt, pain and frustrations. Yet not all is left in the mire of self pity and despair.
Nothing is more revealing than suffering. Suffering reveals what's in our hearts; whether our hearts belong to God. Will we persevere under trials or will we betray God? In this sermon, Pastor Timothy shows us from Zechariah 12:10-14 how we are to respond during times of suffering. For during suffering, we have a God who is not faceless. Rather, He's one who has a face of compassion. A face that will ultimately be enough to win us the victory we need over our problems.
