Senior Pastor Dr.Timothy Yap  
Born in Singapore into a Christian home, Timothy was brought up worshipping in the Methodist Church. Nevertheless, he came to know Jesus as Lord and Savior during Sunday school when he was 11 years of age. Not long after, Timothy, his parents and his brother migrated to Australia. In Sydney Australia, Timothy received his Bachelor of Economics (Finance/Investments) from  University of Sydney and Bachelor of Theology from United Theological College.  After which he earned his Masters of Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, USA and a Doctor of Philosophy from Florida State University, USA in the area of Speech Communication (especially the area of preaching). The title of his dissertation is “Reading the Surrey Gardens Tragedy: Ethos, Trauma and the Rhetoric of Charles Haddon Spurgeon.” Having had ministry experiences in Australia and the US, ever since September of 2009, Timothy took up the position of Senior Pastor at Agincourt Baptist Church.

Youth Pastor Matt Sampson
Matt Sampson originally came to Agincourt as a youth worker after completing his B.A. in Religious Studies at Tyndale University. In September, he was brought on the pastoral team as a full time Youth Pastor. During his studies, Matt was a volunteer at Knox Presbyterian Church on Spadina Ave. He has a passion for seeing youth and their family’s grow deeper in their understanding of who God is and how he works in the world, and in individual lives. Married to Alyssa, together they pray for the power of the Holy Spirit as they invest in the lives of the young people in the Agincourt community.

Interim Music Director Mark Gillogly
Originally from the cottage country area of Fenelon Falls Ontario, Mark has been playing and writing music for over 3 decades. He played in most of his high school’s music department bands and studied Conservatory piano up to grade 8 level. He attended Shiloh Bible College for 2 years and played keyboards with Christian rock band Edifire from 1986 to 1991. From 1998 to 2006 he played with the praise band of Streams of Victory Church in Toronto as a guitarist, keyboardist and worship leader. The last 2 years he served as the Director of Music. Today he lives in Scarborough with his wife Mary, teaches guitar at Alexander Music in Pickering and has a one-man band act performing his original material wherever God opens the door.

Church Secretary Jenny Robinson
Baptised in 1994 in Boston, U.S. and worked in the IT field with major financial institutes in Boston, Jenny moved to Toronto to join her family in Scarborough in 2007 and started worshiping at Agincourt Baptist Church since 2009. She has served in office administration for two years and is now the Church Secretary.
